A DUI victim remembrance ceremony being held at Evelyn Greer Park in Pinecrest tonight to kick off the Village's multi-agency DUI enforcement ahead of the holidays. Mothers Against Drunk Driving spokeswoman Sally Matson says the most important thing you can do is designate a driver or ride sharing service. The latest statistics show there were 350 deadly DUI crashes in Florida in 2017-compared to 417 drunk driving fatalities in 2016. That’s a 16-percent decrease in fatalities. Law enforcement is beefing up patrols in their "Drive sober or get pulled over" campaign for this Veterans Day Weekend.
